USE
The MS Series of Medium Intensity Elevated Lights (MIEL) can be used to light the edges of runways and taxiways utilizing Visual Flight Rule (VFR) or a non precision approach. These lights may also be used to light the edges of helipads. Refer to AC150/5390-2A for more information on heliport lighting.

FEATURES
• Light fixture comes complete with lens, two latch springs to secure lens, fixture body, screws, and medium prefocus (incandescent) receptacle.
• Aluminum column with molded plug cable assembly and a 1.5-inch frangible coupling which can be mounted on a base plate or 30-inch galvanized stake assembly.
• Manufactured from high quality aluminum castings for maximum corrosion resistance.
• Stainless steel latch springs allow for easy removal of the outer lens for lamp replacement.
• Lens is keyed to ensure proper runway orientation.
