USE
The Honeywell Land and Hold Short (LAHSO) operations occur when two intersecting runways are being used at the same time. The LAHSO system utilizes inset lights with redundant lamps in conjunction with an L-884 flashing controller to flash the lamps to alert the pilot of the hold position. The controller ties in with both the runway edge light circuit and the lighting control system to allow the air traffic controllers the ability to turn it on and off as required. Prisms are non-field replaceable.

FEATURES
• The light includes a cutout option to automatically switch to the second lamp if the first one burns out.
• Fixture rises a maximum of 0.250 inch above the surface finish.
• Fixture is a uni-directional fixture with two (2)48-watt halogen lamps.
• Can be used for any FAA Category I, Category II, Category III, ICAO, or Military runway guard applications.
• Light housing is made from a one-piece aluminum casting making it lightweight (14 lb).
• Mounts on a standard size L-868B base whose top surface is 0.750 inch below the surface finish.
