FAA AC: 150/5345-39C
ETL Certified L-853
ICAO Annex 14, Vol. 1
Retroreflective, reboundable airport markers are used to outline the edges of runways and taxiways. The L-853 is tested to the FAA standard and certified by ETL.
These airport markers utilize high-intensity retroreflective sheeting for increased visibility. The 2-1/4" posts are made of co-extruded polyethylene with U.V. inhibitors for superior corrosion resistance and durability. They can be installed on asphalt, concrete, fire hydrants or in soil. The runway-taxiway markers utilize only high strength plastic fasteners for long term performance. This, combined with the self restoring nature of the marker, helps keep life cycle costs among the lowest in the industry.
