Solar PAPI and APAPI
The Solar PAPI is the industry's only LED based complete PAPI system capable of operating via solar power. ICAO compliant, capable of FAA intensities and available in visible, infrared or dual LED output, the PAPI can be powered by solar, solar/fuel-cell hybrid, generator, or mains power, making it the most versatile PAPI available.
Unique LED heat sink design, coupled with specialized optical assemblies, allow the Solar PAPI to support civil, defense and humanitarian aid applications in any location where power is not accessible in either a permanent or portable installation. A significant reduction in energy consumption allows for a smaller, more compact renewable system to power the PAPI 24 hours a day or temporarily in emergency and portable applications. For RF control, a hand-held controller with an RF receiver power control box accompanies each system.
